Marvel Rivals Skins by Season: Every Battle Pass, Free and Store Skin (S0 to S10)

PUBLISHED Oct 13, 2026

Marvel Rivals has run eleven seasons since launch on 6 December 2024, and each one brought a new battle pass (ten costume sets in every full season since Season 1) plus a run of store, event and free skins. Season 10, Butcher's Blasphemy, is live now, and its second half, Season 10.5, began on 9 October 2026. Across Seasons 0 to 10 the game released 557 costumes, between 42 and 59 in each completed season after launch.

Most pages that rank for a single season stop at that one season, and many were written during Season 1. This archive puts every season on one page: the dates, the heroes added, the battle pass Legendaries and free-track costumes, and the event and store skins that defined each window. Counts come from the community Marvel Rivals Wiki costume list, read on 10 October 2026 and current to 9 October; dates, pass names and event windows come from the developer's patch notes on marvelrivals.com. For how the pass itself works, see our battle pass explainer; for this week's arrivals, see new Marvel Rivals skins.

Marvel Rivals season timeline

The chart shows every season's start date and how many costumes arrived before the next season began, split by rarity. Season 0 is inflated by the launch roster's costumes, and Season 10 is still running, so its count only reaches 9 October 2026. Season 7 was the busiest window, with 59 costumes, helped by twelve esports costumes added when the Ignite competitive season began.

Season 0 skins: Doom's Rise (6 December 2024 to 10 January 2025)

The launch season ran about five weeks, so its Chronovium pass was half-length and, per the wiki, priced at 490 Lattice rather than the later 990. Mantis's Galactic Wings was its Legendary and Hela's Empress of the Cosmos its free-track Epic. The store opened with four film-inspired Legendaries: Spider-Man's No Way Home, Iron Man's Avengers: Endgame and Hulk's Green Scar on day one, then Thor's Love and Thunder a week later. The Winter Celebration update brought the first free event costume, Jeff the Land Shark's Cuddly Fuzzlefin, and the first limited-time Legendary, Venom's Snow Symbiote, sold from 27 December 2024 to 17 January 2025. Moon Knight's Lunar General followed on 3 January.

Season 1 skins: Eternal Night Falls (10 January to 11 April 2025)

Season 1 was a long, three-month season built around Dracula's siege of New York, and it added the whole Fantastic Four: Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at the start, The Thing and Human Torch in the 21 February mid-season update. The Darkhold pass carried Wolverine's Blood Berserker and Loki's All-Butcher as its Legendaries. Outside the pass, Iron Fist's Lion's Gaze was a limited-time Legendary in the festive Clashing Lions series from 23 January to 14 February, the paired The Life Fantastic wedding costumes for Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arrived on 14 February, and the store added Legendaries for Luna Snow (Mirae 2099), Captain America (Avengers: Infinity War), Magik (Punkchild), Storm (Goddess of Thunder), Spider-Man (Spider-Punk 2099) and Hawkeye (Ronin). Twelve Legendaries landed in the season, out of 50 costumes.

Season 2 skins: Hellfire Gala (11 April to 11 July 2025)

The Hellfire Gala season brought Emma Frost at launch and Ultron in the 30 May mid-season update. Its Flower of Krakoa pass held Cloak & Dagger's Dance Partner and Spider-Man's Spider-Oni. Free event costumes were plentiful: Mantis's Flora Maiden from the Cerebro Database event and Scarlet Witch's Chaos Gown for completing nine matches at the start, then Future Foundation suits for Mister Fantastic and, through the Venom's Bubble Pop event from 19 June, Human Torch. That same event put Venom's Pink Bubble behind its premium tier. The store was the busiest it had been, with weekly Legendaries including Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Loki's Shin Sagi-Shi, Black Panther's Damisa-Sarki, Scarlet Witch's Immortal Sovereign, Groot's Yggroot and Thor's Majestic Raiment.

Season 3 skins: The Abyss Awakens (11 July to 12 September 2025)

Season 3 was the first of the shorter, roughly nine-week seasons. Phoenix joined at launch and Blade on 8 August. The symbiote theme ran through the Power of the Phoenix pass, whose Legendaries were Jeff's Devouring Duo and Squirrel Girl's Symbiote Squirrel, and through free costumes: Storm's Symbiote Storm from the season event and The Thing's Symbiote-Thing in the second half. Season 3 also introduced the swimsuit costumes from 17 July 2025, with Luna Snow's Cool Summer behind an event pass and Psylocke's Breezy Butterfly as a limited store Legendary. Late in the season the Ancient Powers Awaken event, from 21 August, gave Doctor Strange's Old Man Strange free and Venom's Reborn King in Black to premium owners.

Season 4 skins: Heart of the Dragon (12 September to 14 November 2025)

Angela arrived at the start of Season 4 and Daredevil on 10 October. The Fruit of Immortality pass carried the Moon Knight Mech and Luna Snow's Abyssal Glow, and the free track gave Magneto's The Trial of Magneto. A second summer wave put Mantis's Oceanic Harmony behind an event pass and sold Invisible Woman's Azure Shade and The Punisher's Aqua Arsenal as limited Legendaries. Halloween filled the back half: Peni Parker's Floral Frights for premium event owners, Blade's Blade Knight free, and limited store Legendaries for Namor (Phantom Tide) and Jeff (Jeff O'Lantern) from 24 October. At 14 Legendaries it was, at that point, the most Legendary-heavy season.

Season 5 skins: Love is a Battlefield (14 November 2025 to 16 January 2026)

Season 5 holds the record for Legendaries, with 17, because the first-anniversary Rivals' Day event and the winter holidays both fell inside it. Gambit joined on 14 November and Rogue on 12 December. The Grand Garden Adventure pass carried Scarlet Witch's Witch of the Evil Eye and Namor's Monstro King. For the anniversary, Jeff's Business Shark was a free Legendary, while Venom's Gummy Surprise, Luna Snow's Cherry Delight, Magik's New Millennia Might and Doctor Strange's Bleeker Street Strut were limited-time store Legendaries. The Season 5.5 event Seeds of the Gardener gave Iron Man's Mark I free, with Captain America's Capwolf on its premium side, and the winter festival added Magneto's Black & Gold free, followed by limited Legendaries for Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Cloak & Dagger and, on 2 January, Loki.

Season 6 skins: Night at the Museum (16 January to 20 March 2026)

Deadpool joined on 16 January and Elsa Bloodstone on 13 February. The Museum Ticket pass held Invisible Woman's Prism Parade and Venom's Space Corsair, and the season event Whac-A-Jeff gave away Jeff's 8-Bit Bash. A disco theme ran through late January, with Thor's Boogie Bolt and Luna Snow's Disco Pop in the limited store and Psylocke's Psychedelic Pulse in an event pass. For Valentine's Day, Rogue and Gambit's Mrs. X and Mr. X Legendaries were sold through a paid lucky draw from 13 February to 20 March, where the patch notes said getting every reward in it would cost between 100 and 3,000 Units in total. Iron Man's Iron Mariner and The Thing's Fear Itself rounded out the store.

Season 7 skins: The Hunt Is On (20 March to 15 May 2026)

Season 7 released 59 costumes, the most of any season after launch. White Fox joined at the start and Black Cat on 17 April. The Tablet of Life and Time pass carried Peni Parker's Badlands Lullaby and Hela's Helen Angerboda: The Rebel, with Loki's Low-Key Loki on the free track. A college theme produced Legendaries for Captain America, Invisible Woman, Psylocke and Spider-Man, and the start of the Ignite esports season brought twelve esports costumes. Magik picked up two Legendaries within a month, Infernal Idol from an event pass and Netherworld Noble in the store during the 2026 Hellfire Gala, where Emma Frost's Gala Glam was free. The Season 2 pass also returned for a limited rerun from Season 7.5.

Season 8 skins: Sins of Alchemax (15 May to 10 July 2026)

Devil Dinosaur joined at the start of Season 8 and Cyclops on 12 June. The Project: Heroic Age pass carried Rogue's Starlit Rebel and Jeff's Devil Landshark, with Star-Lord's Glory Gunner free. Luna Snow's Sonic Trailblazer came from an event pass, Groot's Ironwood Serpent was free through the Shenloong Tournament, and the second 616 Vault sale reopened several limited 2025 costumes from 12 June. The 2026 summer line began in this season: Cloak & Dagger's Coastal Couple as an event reward, Daredevil's Sonar Savior and Black Widow's Aquatic Assassin in the store, and four beach Legendaries for Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, White Fox and Loki sold through lucky draws. Our summer skins guide covers that line in full.

Season 9 skins: The Mystery of Thebes (10 July to 11 September 2026)

Jubilee joined on 10 July and The Hood on 7 August. The Faith-Harvesting Engine pass carried Deadpool's Dead Mummy and Elsa Bloodstone's Primal Predator, alongside Venom's Venom Bloom and a free-track Ultron-15. Rogue's Raider Prime went on sale at the start, Invisible Woman's Baxter Building Beauty came from an event pass, and The Punisher's Sandstorm Soldier was free from 7 August. The Summer Finale wave on 13 August added Black Cat's Coastal Cat as an event reward and Magik's Soul Surfer and Scarlet Witch's Seaside Sorceress through lucky draws. Cyclops's Elegant Eye and Ultron's B-Boy Prime closed the season, and the Season 3 pass reran from 16 to 30 July.

Season 10 skins: Butcher's Blasphemy (11 September 2026 to now)

Season 10 opened on 11 September 2026 and added Gorr the God Butcher. Its pass, The Godbomb, has ten sets including White Fox's Cosmic Kumiho and Captain America's Astral Aegis as Legendaries, plus Loki's The Chronicler; Groot's Grootlactus is on the free track. Cloak & Dagger's Dreamy Duo was a limited store Legendary until 9 October. The Jeff's Dream Eater event, live until 15 October 2026 at 09:00 UTC, gives Venom's President Ozzy free and Rogue's Slumber Sugah on its premium side. Season 10.5 began on 9 October with Devil Dinosaur's Skele-Saurus in the limited store until 6 November and Thor's The Avengers free through the Infinity Finale event, which runs to 10 December. The Season 4 pass reran from 11 to 24 September.

Battle pass, store or free: where each season's skins come from

Every season since Season 1 has followed the same shape. The pass gives ten costume sets, two of them Legendary, plus one Epic and one Rare free for everyone. The store then adds a new bundle most weeks, which is where most Legendaries appear; event passes sit in between, often with one free costume and a premium tier holding a better one. Lucky draws have become more common since mid-2026, and they deserve caution because you cannot see the final price before you start pulling.

Flow diagram of whether a missed costume can come back. Battle pass costume: old passes have rerun for about two weeks, and the Season 0 to 4 passes have returned. Limited-time store: some return in throwback sales, such as Snow Symbiote in June and December 2025. Event pass costume: some events come back, such as Seeds of the Gardener in June 2026. Twitch drop or rank reward: no return route seen so far.

If you are picking one place to put money in a season, the pass is the most costume per Lattice, because on 10 October 2026 the wiki listed it at 990 Lattice for ten sets while a single store Legendary was 2,000 Units. Lattice is bought through your platform; prepaid platform credit from Eneba or CDKeys is one way to cap what you spend. Those links are affiliate links, so we earn a small commission on the card and nothing on any skin, and the card's region must match your account.

Edge cases that trip up season lists

Half-seasons are the first trap. Since Season 1 each season has a mid-season update numbered .5, which brings a new hero and often a new event, but it shares the season's battle pass, so a "Season 5.5 skin" is listed here under Season 5. The second trap is the pass itself: you can only buy a past season's pass during a rerun, which has so far lasted about two weeks, and the wiki listed reruns at 1,190 Lattice on 10 October 2026. Third, the College Perks program rotates a set of ten costumes each season for verified students, as trial access rather than ownership, so those costumes are not new releases. Finally, chromas, the alternate colour sets for some higher-rarity costumes, are left out of every count on this page.
