Affiliate disclosure
Where our links go, what we earn (and don't), and what we refuse to link. Last updated 9 September 2026.
CapeCatalog is free to read, and some outbound links are affiliate links. This page explains exactly how that works, because in this game the honest answer is unusual: we earn nothing at all on the skins.
We earn nothing on Marvel Rivals skins
There is no affiliate or commission program for Marvel Rivals cosmetics, and the skins cannot be resold, so there is no transaction for us to earn on. Skins are bought only inside the game with Units and Lattice. Nothing on this site links to a place that sells Marvel Rivals skins, because no legitimate such place exists.
What we may earn on: platform gift cards
The only thing we may earn a small commission on is platform store credit — a PlayStation Store, Xbox, Steam or Nintendo gift card that a player uses to fund the Lattice they then spend in-game. We link these through reputable resellers, currently Eneba, CDKeys and Kinguin. Every such link is routed through our /go/ redirect and marked as sponsored. Commissions are low single digits on the card and buying through them costs you nothing extra.
What we refuse to link
We do not link, review or accept money from skin "generators", account sellers, boosting services, or any scam — regardless of what they pay. Those corners of gaming are the ones most likely to scam or target younger players, and they have no place in a reference. A commission never influences what we catalog or how we describe it.
